Using Treo 680 With Mac Bluetooth

Yesterday I was able to setup my phone to act as a modem over bluetooth to my laptop. It’s not as easy as just selecting a few options. So I thought I would put up all the info you need to get it working.

The information that you need to fill in when asked is:

Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
GPRS CID String or Telephone number: wap.cingular
Modem: Generic GPRS CID1 +CGQREQ

Then follow the instructions at captnswing.net.
