For Immediate Release

ANNANDALE, New Jersey - August, 1 2006 - Today, nClass Software , the fairly new software developer has announced that version 0.5 of its popular album artwork gathering application, Corripio, has been released for download at its website http://nclasssoftware.com. Recently featured in the August 2006 issue of Macworld, Corripio is the premier tool for gathering album artwork. By searching four sources: the iTunes Music Store, Coveralia, Best Buy, and Walmart, Corripio enables the user to get the best artwork available for their iTunes libraries with the click of a button.

Armed with a fresh new icon and a new polished metal interface, Corripio version 0.5 will dazzle its users with new options and improved support. With this new version, the user now has the ability to search for song lyrics. The lyrics will automatically be added to each songs’ ID3 tag. If wanted, Corripio will prompt the user and ask the user to either approve or edit the new lyrics before they are saved. This feature will allow for easy viewing of song lyrics on one’s iPod. In addition to the new lyric finding ability, Corripio sports a much more user-friendly tag collection feature. Now the user, when fixing tags, has the ability to set which words to keep lowercase, which symbols to remove, and whether or not they want tags corrected on podcasts. Jeff Dlouhy, the lead programmer of Corripio has been hard at work on this version of Corripio. As he states, “I have spent countless hours making sure that this application is easy and fun to use. My greatest satisfaction is when the consumer can join in my enjoyment of the product.”

In this version, Corripio will continue to allow the user to set search order priorities for artwork. Now though, Corripio has a new option where the user can choose to search all four sources (the iTunes Music Store, Coveralia, Best Buy, and Walmart) at once. Like in the previous versions of this software, the user can search for artwork by artist and album, album, song, and artist. The user also has the ability to see the artwork size to guarantee that the highest quality image is selected. If the user desires to view their new found artwork in a separate window, it is now possible in the latest version.

As always, Corripio is impressively fast, and unlike other artwork gatherers, it does not rely on applescript. By being programmed in the Objective-C programming language, it is highly efficient as well. Corripio is a universal application, available for Mac OS 10.4. It can be had as a free download at http://nclasssoftware.com/index.php/nClassSoftware/corripio/.

nClass Software specializes in album artwork gathering software. It makes an application for both the Windows and Macintosh platform that retrieves artwork. nClass Software has been around for under a year and continues to strive for popularity and success.

So this is my first “real” application I have made. Corripio is a Artwork finding application, but no ordinary one for that matter. Instead of using Amazon and Google image searches Corripio gets its artwork from the iTunes Music Store. If your song information is relatively correct and your album is on the iTMS Corripio will download and save the artwork to the song automatically without any AppleScript! Just select one song or multiple songs and press “get artwork” and Corripio will do the rest, if it finds more than one corresponding album cover you will be presented with a selection pane. Corripio is currently in beta and is still being ironed out. Your help in reporting bugs and suggesting features is much appreciated. Report bugs at trac.nClassSoftware.com and e-mail me your comments and concerns at . Corripio is Free Software, the source code will be released as soon as it gets out of beta.
